Virtual Yoga & Meditation for Recovery – 6 Weeks
Interested in starting the new year with improved moods, help with cravings, stress reduction, and increasing your overall well-being and fitness? Thriving in Recovery is science-backed yoga practices that will take your recovery to the next level!
Dates/Times: Saturdays; January 9th – February 13th; 10:00am – 11:00am
Cost: Suggested donation of $10.00 per class (More is welcomed. If you cannot pay, no worries.) All proceeds benefit the ARC. Teachers are volunteers.
Maximum # of people: Eight (8); no experience is necessary.
Format: Classes are on Zoom. Each class is themed to a principle of the 12 steps & yogic principles. 30 min yoga practice; 15 min journaling & sharing; 15 min meditation.

Bios of Teachers:
Kelly McCausland is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher. Yoga and meditation have been solid supports in her recovery from addiction.
Ashley Askew is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher trained in trauma-informed practices.
