Meet the wonderful team we have working at the ARC!
|Kelly, Executive Director|
|Kelly has transformed her own suffering from substance use disorder to deep compassion for those who still suffer. She has a depth of knowledge in twelve step recovery while supporting multiple paths to recovery. Prior to joining the ARC, Kelly worked as an Executive Director of Prana Recovery Center, a nonprofit specializing in integrating multiple paths to recovery, including yoga and mindfulness meditation. Kelly was also a director of human resources in the public sector for many years. Kelly has a Masters Degree in Public Administration. She brings empathy, a stellar work ethic, and executive experience to The Addiction Referral Center.
|Josh, Recovery Coach|
|As a person in recovery, Josh has taken his experience of the pain and destruction from his active alcoholism to now living a healthy and sober life while sharing his journey with others. Helping many people on their path of recovery, Josh is a big believer in multiple pathways to recovery and has a firm belief that if he can get sober then anyone can get, and stay, sober. Josh got sober in these halls and started out as a volunteer at the ARC before becoming a recovery coach. He also currently owns his own business with a medical device technology company in the health and wellness field. Prior to joining the ARC, Josh worked 10+ years in the software sales arena. Josh is a graduate of Lincoln-Sudbury High School and has a Marketing degree from the University of Tampa. Josh brings a positive attitude and great sense of humor to the ARC and is an absolute joy to be around.

|Tracey Gustafson, President|
|Our board President is the STEM Mentor Program Manager at MassBay Community College (MBCC). Prior to joining MBCC, Tracey was a MySTEM Development Fellow at Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Central Mass/Metrowest, Inc. She earned her B.S. in Computer Engineering at Boston University, and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Brown. Tracey also worked for over 30 years as a Computer Engineer, employed at Digital Equipment Corporation and Intel Corporation.
|Gary Cato, Vice President|
|A career in the local real estate/construction industry with a B.S. in Urban Studies and M.S. in Non-Profit Management Program from Worcester State University (WSU). A local resident most his life, he seeks to raise social capital and encourage social justice. Gary is also a volunteer in the Urban Studies, Intergenerational Urban Institute and remains available as an adult student mentor at WSU.
|Suzanne Dupre, Treasurer|
|A graduate of Bryant College, Suzanne’s comprehensive 20 years of experience, coupled with her education, have honed her skills well to serve as VP, Director of Human Resources for Main Street Bank. A passion for health and wellness lead Suzanne to collaborate with Mass Bankers Association and Blue Cross Blue Shield, in establishing a Wellness Committee at Marlborough Savings Bank.
|Joan Simoneau, Clerk|
|A member of the ARC Board for over 20 years, Joan was the wife of an ARC founder, Roland Simoneau, now deceased. Joan is a valuable and notable local fundraiser and human service volunteer. She also serves on the committee for the “Evening of Giving” to benefit the local homeless shelter, “Roland’s House.” As a local reporter for two weekly newspapers Joan has access to most any office in the City.
|Larry Stone, Member|
|After attending Worcester State University, Larry owned and operated his own transportation business for several years. Coming off the road 20 years ago Larry entered the building/construction material sales industry. He is presently General Manager for one of the area’s largest septic installer services and sales companies.
|Beth Lacey, Member|
|Beth is the Senior Vice President of Community Services at Advocates, Inc. in Framingham. She has worked at Advocates since 1986 in a variety of positions including direct care counselor, group home manager and therapist. In her current role, she is responsible for operations of Advocates’ service system such as adult family care, residential treatment for substance disorders, and outpatient clinics among many other programs. Beth earned her MSW from Boston University; she is an active member of the Association for Behavioral Health and the Association of Developmental Disabilities Providers..
|Sem Aykanian, Member|
|A lifelong Marlborough resident, and local attorney, Sem has maintained a law practice on Main Street for over 30 years. Presently he serves the community as Chairman of the Board – Main Street Bank. Sem was active for many years coaching local high school football teams. Sem also has served on various other local Boards and Charities.
|Marcelo Arantes, Member|
|Marcelo Arantes is a Director at The Home Depot with an MBA from Isenberg’s School of Business from UMASS Amherst. Marcelo combines his business background with his commitment to serving the local community he grew up in support of the ARC’s mission to provide support and resources for our community.
|Susan Kapopoulos, Member|
|Susan is a Senior Account Manager at KGA, Inc., a Human Resources services firm that helps organizations create and sustain a healthy, engaged, and productive workforce. She has a background in finance, project management and operations from financial services, consumer products and manufacturing industries. Susan received her BS in Business Administration from Babson College. She has a passion for helping reduce the stigma around substance use disorders and mental health issues. She believes strongly in the ARC’s mission of supporting those suffering directly or indirectly from the disease of addiction.
